About

I've made my home in a (mostly) quiet village on the North Norfolk coast. Miles away from the enticing bright lights. However, you can see the stars remarkably well and I find the place perfect for writing, recording and putting miles on my car.

You obviously know about my work as a solo artist, but I also get more than a few kicks in Neil Young Tribute Band Don't Spook The Horse and electric ceilidh band News of The Victory. Like most musos I do my fair share of teaching - both privately and in schools around Norfolk.

I studied physics at Durham University and this helps with my work as a sound engineer specialising in acoustic and modern classical applications. Notably "Narcissus" by Thea Musgrave (Michael Cox, Purcell Room). I've recorded the Leicester International Music Festival, Oxford Chamber Music Festival, Steve Bingham's debut solo album "Duplicity", Brian Eade's "Time and Tide"....and of course myself...

Miles on my car? check out climatecare.org, they offer an extremely easy way to off-set your CO2 emissions.

While I'm handing out the links and advice, if you are after the loveliest audio experience money can buy, there is only one place to purchase Hi-Fi; Definitive Audio in Nottingham. www.livingvoice.co.uk and www.definitiveaudio.co.uk.
